Jets' Aaron Glenn is 0-5, who else has earned that record over past 10 years in the NFL?

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has some interesting company with historic 0-5 start.

Aaron Glenn became the first New York Jets head coach in franchise history to begin his debut campaign 0-5 following Week 5's defeat to the Dallas Cowboys.

It marks the Jets' third 0-5 start in the previous 30 years, but it's the first time it's happened under a new coach. Glenn and his coaching staff are aggressively searching for answers.

Glenn became the seventh first-year head coach in the previous 10 campaigns to start 0-5. He's keeping some interesting company.

Glenn joins Urban Meyer, Joe Judge, Zac Taylor, Brian Flores, Kyle Shanahan, and Anthony Lynn on that list, according to ESPN.

The list is a mixed bag. There's some horrific examples. Other coaches dug themselves out of that hole to become very successful.

Uber Meyer's disastrous tenure ended in his first year. He was fired after a 2-11 start. Off-field distractions and questionable conduct played a significant role in Meyer's dismissal. Joe Judge started 0-5 with the New York Giants, but finished his debut campaign a more respectable 6-10. Judge was fired after regressing to 4-13 in his second season.

Kyle Shanahan is the example Jets fans hope Glenn can follow. After going 6-10 and 4-12 in his opening two campaigns, he's since led the San Francisco 49ers to multiple Super Bowl appearances. Though Zac Taylor may currently be on the hot seat with the Cincinnati Bengals, he's a pretty good example too.
