The continental showcase, set to unfold in Morocco from December 21st to a climactic finish on January 18th, 2026, represents more than just a date on the calendar for Webber. It is a beacon, a tangible goal fueling his performances far from home.

Before his transatlantic move in March, Webber was already on the national radar, having been part of the Bafana Bafana squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers while still with Sekhukhune United. "I know AFCON is in December, and obviously, the FIFA World Cup is next year. I know the league might not be the top league that I’m in right now, but I know I’m getting more exposure here. I think that’s better for me, you know. That’s one of my goals."
