IYO SKY Says This WWE Spot Is The Greatest Moment Of Her Life

IYO SKY reveals the greatest moment of her life.

The Genius of the Sky defended the Women’s World Championship in a triple threat match against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42 Sunday. All three women wowed the fans with a spectacular performance.

Despite Belair and Ripley putting up a strong fight, it was SKY who retained her title, hitting a beautiful moonsault on her opponents before pinning the EST for the win. Speaking to The Japan Times in a new interview, IYO described the successful title defense as the greatest moment of her life.

“I’m apparently the first Japanese woman to win at WrestleMania,” IYO said. “And since it was also a defense of WWE’s most prestigious title, it was definitely the greatest moment of my life. Not just the result but also being with the best wrestlers in Bianca and Rhea. I was able to take on the best stage, the best performers, the best match, and make the most of history.” [H/T Fightful]

IYO SKY will be in action at Crown Jewel: Perth

IYO SKY will partake in a multi-woman match at Crown Jewel: Perth this Saturday.

The former multi-time world champion will team up with Rhea Ripley to take on The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) in tag team action.
