BELOIT, Ohio (WKBN) – Two 6-1 teams from the Eastern Buckeye battle for conference supremacy Friday night as West Branch plays host to Alliance.
West Branch has jumped out to a commanding 20-0 lead over Alliance so far.
The Warriors struck three times in the first quarter. Owen Bloss connected with Jeremy Ramsey on a 10-yard touchdown pass in the opening period to put West Branch ahead 7-0.
Grady Hirst added a short touchdown run with five minutes left in the first quarter, extending the lead to 14-0.
Jeremiah Thomas capped the first-quarter scoring with a six-yard rushing score with one minute remaining in the opening frame, giving West Branch a 20-0 advantage heading into the second quarter.
The Warriors currently lead 20-0 early in the second quarter as of the last update.
