EAST LANSING 24, EVERETT 6
Baylor Schanski ran for 169 yards and three touchdowns while helping the Trojans to a CAAC Blue victory over Everett. Isaac Bucerri added a 20-yard field goal for East Lansing and BJ Ardister threw for 100 yards. Everett got a rushing touchdown from Javari Funches, who ran for 166 yards. Gavin Hellwege threw for 84 yards for Everett, which dropped its third straight.
SEXTON 26, IONIA 18
Abdul-Carter Foreman went 11-for-22 with 133 yards passing and two touchdowns to propel the J-Dubbs to a CAAC White home victory over Ionia (0-7, 0-5). Jasper Purdue ran for a team-high 72 yards and a touchdown, Josiah Stewart hauled in six receptions for 91 yards and a score, Willie Brown chipped in a receiving touchdown and Dion Banks notched a team-best 12 tackles for Sexton (4-3, 4-2).
ITHACA 37, SAGINAW NOUVEL 30
The Yellowjackets scored 30 unanswered points while rallying to a TVC West victory over Saginaw Nouvel. Gibson Rondy threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns and Connor McMurphy had five catches for 126 yards and a TD for Ithaca. Elijah Smith added seven catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns, which included the go-ahead score.
WILLIAMSTON 51, EASTERN 8
WILLIAMSTON — Joseph Smith rushed for 50 yards and three touchdowns to help the Hornets secure the outright CAAC Red title with a win over Eastern (1-6, 0-5). Tommy Pratt notched a pair of interception returns for touchdowns and Kaleb Nielson connected with Drew Kersten for 20-yard passing touchdown for Williamston (7-0, 5-0).
OWOSSO 34, ORTONVILLE BRANDON 22
Liam Patrick ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns, threw for 182 yards and three scores and led the defense with 10 tackles as the Trojans wrapped up a second place finish in the Flint Metro League Stars with the win. Braden Reed had four catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns for Owosso (5-2).
LAKEWOOD 21, LANSING CATHOLIC 13
Quarterback Max Thrun threw for 165 yards and punched in two rushing scores to lead the Vikings to a CAAC White road victory over Lansing Catholic (1-6, 1-5). Carter Stewart finished with a team-best 89 yards rushing and a touchdown and Michael Goodemoot pulled down 84 yards receiving for Lakewood (2-4, 1-3).
MASON 58, FOWLERVILLE 13
FOWLERVILLE — Gerrit Koot completed 7-of-13 passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns while helping the Bulldogs (4-3) to a CAAC Red win over Fowlerville. Frankie Trigo added two interceptions, Travis Davis had nine tackles and a fumble recovery and Luke Goss had 73 yards receiving and a TD for Mason, which won its third straight.
HOLT 42, WAVERLY 7
HOLT — LaDon Hatcher ran for a game-high 148 yards on 12 carries to push the Rams to a CAAC Blue home victory over Waverly (0-7, 0-5). Ethan Melville ran for 90 yards and a score and connected with Manollo Williams and Mikah Williamston for touchdowns for Holt (4-3, 2-2).
ALMA 14, ESSEXVILLE GARBER 7
ALMA — Penn Seeley finished with a team-best 159 yards rushing and two touchdowns to help guide the Panthers to a TVC Red victory over Essexville Garber (2-5, 0-5). Gavin McConnell picked up 29 yards receiving and Kias Martin notched a team-high 11 tackles for Alma (3-4, 2-3).
STOCKBRIDGE 20, MAPLE VALLEY 13
VERMONTVILLE — The Panthers scored 12-unanswered points in the fourth quarter to propel them to a Big 8 road victory over Maple Valley. Noah Sandecki threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a game-high 95 yards. Jayson Conant and Grant Howlett each hauled in a receiving score and Brandon Hamlett punched in a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter for Stockbridge (3-4, 3-2). Eli Wright finished with a team-best 42 yards rushing and a touchdown and Tyrese Robinson El added on a rushing score for the Lions (2-5, 1-4).
OVID-ELSIE 58, CHESANING 16
CHESANING — Owen Long went 8-for-10 passing with 163 yards and five touchdowns and added 53 yards rushing with two scores as the Marauders picked up a MMAC win over Chesaning (1-6, 0-6). Joie Fabus had 94 yards receiving and two touchdowns, Brock Spitzley notched a team-high 88 yards rushing and a touchdown and Julian Median, Chase Fabus and Robert Kebler each chipped in a receiving touchdown for Ovid-Elsie (5-2, 5-1).
PERRY 35, DANSVILLE 14
DANSVILLE — Tyger Whitbeck went 15-for-21 passing with 186 yards and three touchdowns to push the Ramblers to a CMAC road victory over Dansville (0-6, 0-4). Alex Rockafellow pulled down seven receptions with 122 yards and two touchdowns, JT Lynch notched a team-high 75 yards rushing and a score, Mason Nosis finished with 62 yards and a rushing touchdown and Jake Adkins assed on a receiving score for Perry (1-6, 1-4).
PORTLAND ST. PATRICK 56, WYOMING LEE 0
WYOMING — Brady Leonard ran back a 85-yard kick return for a touchdown to start the game ran for a team-high 72 yards and a score as the Shamrocks notched the road victory over Wyoming Lee (2-4). Jerryd Scheurer threw for 82 yards and a touchdown and punched in two rushing scores and Kaeden Brown and Emmet Fandel each chipped in a rushing touchdown for Portland St. Patrick (7-0).
GOODRICH 55, CORUNNA 7
Ota Wilkerson had a 49-yard touchdown run for the Cavaliers in their Flint Metro League loss.
