Girard's AJ Pearson was named Player of the Game for his efforts in the Indians' thrilling 29-28 win over Poland.
GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) – Girard sophomore quarterback AJ Pearson was named Player of the Game for his efforts in the Indians’ thrilling 29-28 win over Poland in week eight high school football action on Friday night.
The game was televised live as the WKBN High School Football Game of the Week.
Following the victory, Pearson spoke with WKBN’s Chad Krispinsky.

Pearson amassed 217 passing yards, 134 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the win. He also found the endzone on the game-winning two-point conversion for the Indians.
