In her latest YouTube video, Kai Trump joined her grandfather for a round of best ball at Trump National Golf Club in Washington D.C.
Donald Trump gets referred to in many ways, some of them derogatory, some of them devotional. However, in her new video series, "1 on 1 with Kai Trump," the budding golf star reminds us of how she refers to the leader of the free world: Grandpa.
Kai Trump is a University of Miami commit and is the eldest grandchild of the U.S. President. The eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa, the outgoing Kai has more than 6 million followers across her social media channels. In July, she launched an NIL deal with Accelerator Active Energy as an equity partner alongside former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne and NFL star Travis Kelce.
She joined her grandfather for a round of best ball at Trump National Golf Club in Washington D.C., and while we won't give away any spoilers, we will say that Trump touts the fact that he has "stopped seven wars." He also mentions that the Tom Fazio-redesigned course would be a "great place to hold a tournament." The course was the site of Bernhard Langer's Senior PGA Championship win in 2017 and has also hosted a LIV Golf event.
But Kai Trump, who attends the same high school as Tiger Woods' son Charlie, doesn't need to worry about global politics or the PGA Tour schedule. Instead, she simply enjoys playing golf with her grandfather on a warm, but windy day in Northern Virginia.
"People know him as a businessman or politician. But to me, he's just my grandpa. We've been playing golf together for years," Kai Trump said. "It's something he's always loved, and it's become a way for us to spend time together. Over the years, I've learned a lot from being on the course with him, not just about golf, but about life."
