In a recent interview with Football Insider, former Premier League scout Mick Brown claimed that Manchester United could move in for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga next year. Brown said,
“Man United have admired Camavinga for a while.
“When he was playing in France, he was one of the world’s top talents, he earned that move to Real Madrid and I think he’s improved since he went there.
“Seeing he’s not been in the team much recently, you have to question it because he is a very talented player and one who would do a job for a lot of clubs.
“I think if the opportunity to move to the Premier League came up, it could be something he looks to explore, and Man United could take advantage of that.
“They want improvements in midfield and he’s a very good option, I’m not so sure how well he would fit into Amorim’s system, but that’s for them to decide.
“He’s somebody they know a lot about and one I’m sure they will be aware of if he becomes available, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they made a move for him.”
Camavinga’s Lack Of Game Time This Season
The 22-year-old has struggled to earn regular playing opportunities at Real Madrid this season. Camavinga has only made five appearances for Los Blancos so far in this campaign on all fronts.
The France international is among the best young midfielders in European football. Hence, it is no wonder that the Red Devils are eager to sign him next year.

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029. Thus, it won’t be easy for Man United to land him on the cheap next year.
Will Camavinga Be A Good Choice For Manchester United?
Camavinga is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually clears the danger when required and is a good passer of the ball as well.
The French talent can even shoot the ball with power from long range. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also operate as a defensive midfielder or as a left-back if told to do so.
Camavinga would add more bite and steel to Man United head coach Ruben Amorim’s midfield. He is more than capable of earning a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club in the coming years.
At 22, Camavinga has got a bright future ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Red Devils to consider this January or next summer.
