Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua have been firing on all cylinders, and the Rams duo is set to continue their torrid start to the season.
Sunday afternoon sees the Los Angeles Rams making the long trek across the country to face a Baltimore Ravens team missing Lamar Jackson.
Matthew Stafford and Puca Nakua are putting up eye-popping numbers on offense, and they’re two of the players I'm keying in on for my Rams vs. Ravens player props.
Find out more in my NFL picks for Sunday, October 12.
Rams vs Ravens props

Over 93.5 receiving yards | <<-114>> | |
Over 4.5 receiving yards | <<-114>> |
Prop bet #1: Matthew Stafford Over 254.5 passing yards
I’ve got this play listed first for a reason, as it’s a two-unit play in my opinion. This total should probably be 25 yards higher than it currently is.
The Baltimore Ravens are banged up defensively. Marlon Humphrey, Roquan Smith, and Chidobe Awuzie are all questionable for Sunday, which is bad news for a defense already getting gashed. The defense is struggling to put pressure on the quarterback, which is why they rank in the bottom 10 in the league in completion rate allowed and yards per completion.
Opponents are posting the second-most passing yards in the league, and the Ravens have given up the fourth-best QBR of any team in the NFL. Enter Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who has thrown for 375+ yards in each of the last two games.
This is a total he’s topped in all but one game. Stafford is on fire, and I expect him to blow past this total with ease.
Prop bet #2: Puka Nacua Over 93.5 receiving yards
Not only are the Ravens giving up tons of yards through the air, but they’re getting hurt by primary receivers.
Keon Coleman went for 112 yards and a score on eight catches in the opener, Amon-Ra St. Brown caught seven passes for 77 yards and a touchdown, and the Chiefs got five catches for 83 yards from Xavier Worthy.
Last week, Nico Collins only hauled in four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown, but the Texans took their foot off the gas after jumping out to a huge lead. Collins also doesn’t get the target share that Puca Nakua does.
Nakua is on pace to potentially break the 2,000-yard receiving mark, which would be an NFL record. He may also obliterate the single-season catch record after becoming the fastest player to reach 50 in a season.
Against the Ravens, I’m backing Nacua to not only reach his target for this game, but to get to the 100-yard mark for the fourth time in six contests.
Prop bet #3: Derrick Henry Over 4.5 receiving yards
Betting on Derrick Henry receiving Overs has been one of my most profitable plays the past two seasons. That’s because his yardage total is almost always in the single digits.
And while Henry usually only catches one or two passes a game, that’s almost always enough to go past his number. He topped it in four of the final five games last season, finishing with 18+ yards in each.
Before last week, Henry had eclipsed his yardage total in three of Baltimore’s first four games. He only had one target last week, but Henry couldn’t pull it in.
Given how Baltimore offensive coordinator Todd Monken has talked this week, Cooper Rush will be looking to get the ball out of his hands quicker. Monken also talked about ways to prevent the Rams from loading the box to stop Henry in the run game.
One of the easiest ways to do that is with the screen game. Whether it’s via that route or a quick check-down, the odds are quite high that Henry will catch a pass.
If he does, well... I pity the defender trying to take him down in the open field. He might drag the poor guy the five yards needed to cash this prop.
