ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The No. 6-ranked UTPB Falcons fell to the No. 13 Central Washington Wildcats 27-14, at Ratliff Stadium to take its first loss of the season.
The ground game was the difference maker as the Falcons only had 50 yards compared to the Wildcats’ 238.The defense did do its job through the air as they only allowed 70 yards from Central Washington quarterback Kennedy McGill compared to 250 yards by Kanon Gibson. The Falcons are back in action next Saturday to face Western Oregon.
