Manchester United have been regularly linked with interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, and the Red Devils have been tipped to launch a serious bid for him next summer. The Old Trafford club did not make a concrete move for Wharton last summer as they concentrated on bolstering their attack instead. However, Man United could do with a new midfielder soon with Casemiro expected to leave at the end of the season, and Wharton fits the bill.
Unfortunately, Palace have no plans of selling the 21-year-old anytime, with chairman Steve Parish insisting the Selhurst Park club are not under pressure to let go of him right now.

Wharton joined Palace from Blackburn Rovers in February 2024, signing a five-and-a-half-year contract. He has four more years left on his deal and suitors may need to break the bank if they want him next summer. Palace will not be under pressure to sell a player with three more years still left on his deal at the end of the season, and Man United may need to look elsewhere. They have plans to sign both Wharton and his Brighton & Hove Albion counterpart Carlos Baleba in a bid to strengthen in the middle of the park.
However, the Red Devils may need to settle for the Cameroon international next summer as it appears he has been unsettled by the summer transfer rumours.
