Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase makes ridiculous TD catch, 50th of his career

Star receiver Ja'Marr Chase made an absurd fourth-quarter touchdown catch despite contact from Packers' defenders.

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase made a remarkable touchdown catch from Joe Flacco during the fourth quarter of the team's NFL Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

It was Chase's 50th career touchdown catch, and fourth of this season. It was the 10th catch of the game for Chase.

"How it's not a (defensive pass interference) penalty I don't know," CBS analyst Trent Green said.

Chase celebrated the score with his "Griddy" dance.

In March, Chase signed a four-year contract extension with the Bengals worth $161 million. Chase was named a Pro Bowler in 2024 for the fourth time in four NFL seasons.

In 2024, Chase won the receiving triple crown as the regular-season league leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. It was the NFL's fifth receiving triple crown since 1970.

In his first four seasons with the Bengals, Chase played in 62 games, making 61 starts.

In 2024, Chase had a Bengals' single-season record 127 catches, tied for ninth in NFL history. He had a Bengals' single-season record 1,708 receiving yards. His 17th TD catch tied Carl Pickens' franchise single-season record.

Chase also became the first in NFL history with at least 1,700 receiving yards and 17 TD catches in the same season.

During the Bengals' win in Dallas, Chase had 14 catches for 177 yards and two touchdowns, surpassing the 5,000-yard receiving mark for his career. He celebrated his first TD by doing a special "Griddy" for cancer survivor Brixton Wood, and smashed a donut in teammate Joe Burrow's face on the field after the win.
