Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard is not expected to return to action until after the next international break.
The Dane was injured early into Arsenal's 2-0 win at home to West Ham United earlier this month with Martin Zubimendi taking his place.
According to Sami Mokbel of BBC Sport, the extent of Odegaard's ligament injury means that he will be out until after the next international break.
The news means that the club captain could miss Arsenal's next seven games in all competitions, including games at home to Atlético de Madrid and Crystal Palace.
However, the 26-year-old could be back in time for the first North London derby of the 2024/25 campaign when Tottenham Hotspur visit the Emirates Stadium on November 23rd.
Odegaard will be hoping to get back to full fitness after having been replaced in the 38th minute against Leeds in August, the 18th minute against Nottingham Forest in September, and the early departure against West Ham last time out.
