Through six weeks of the regular season, the Cincinnati Bengals were not expected to have a 2-4 record with Joe Flacco starting at quarterback.
Unfortunately, that's the reality for fans. While riding a four-game losing streak, the Bengals will face the Pittsburgh Steelers with a short week of preparation on Thursday Night Football.
With this being said, head coach Zac Taylor will most likely be the head coach for Week 7. However, is his time as the leader of the Bengals ticking away?
Adam Schefter believes that Zac Taylor's job is safe after Week 6 loss to the Packers
While speaking on a segment on the Pat McAfee show on Monday, senior NFL insider Adam Schefter spoke about head coaches who could be on the hot seat. One of the names that was brought up was Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor.
"It doesn't mean I'm right, but I don't see a coaching move being made anytime soon," Schefter said. "Of course, there are going to be coaches that loss their jobs. It happens every year... But I don't think, and for all I know, we are gonna hang up here, and someone is going to get fired."
