If true, New York may be forced to make a change.

The New York Jets continue to find new lows never before thought possible.
NFL history was made on Sunday, with the Jets becoming the first team in the Super Bowl era to lose a game where they won the turnover battle, committed fewer than two penalties, and held their opponent to less than 250 total yards.
It's easy to point to Justin Fields as the reason why the Jets were unable to capitalize on an impressive defensive performance, as his -10 passing yards were a franchise record in a long list of woeful quarterback play.
Connor Hughes says Jets are beginning to lose the locker room because of Justin Fields
SNY insider Connor Hughes reported today that Fields' play is causing him to lose support within the Jets locker room.
"Several within the locker room have told SNY, at varying points beginning in training camp, they believe [Tyrod] Taylor is their best quarterback. Because Fields is undeniably a better athlete and can do much more as a runner, the sentiment was that would lead to wins. They could accomplish more because Fields could (conceivably) do more," wrote Hughes.
"The Broncos defense held the Jets to zero explosive plays, the first time an offense has gone without an explosive play in a game since Week 11, 2021 (Texans vs. Titans). Glenn cannot continue to blindly trust Fields if a growing portion of the locker room doesn’t believe he gives them the best chance to win."
If what Hughes is reporting is accurate, the Jets and first-year head coach Aaron Glenn would be wise to start considering a turn to backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor if the play on the field doesn't improve.
While it's unlikely Glenn goes one-and-done in New York, losing a locker room is a sure-fire way of getting the axe.
While Taylor didn't overly impress in his Week 3 start against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he certainly got the ball out faster than Fields did in London yesterday.
