Barcelona expect to have four key players back available for selection for the club’s upcoming showdown with Real Madrid.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Monday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona are of course currently in the midst of an early-season injury crisis.
Across the early weeks of the campaign, all of Marc-André ter Stegen, Joan García, Alejandro Balde, Marc Bernal, Gavi, Fermín López, Dani Olmo, Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres have spent time on the sidelines.
Ahead of a crucial stretch of upcoming fixtures between the October and November international breaks, Hansi Flick will in turn no doubt be desperate to have as many of his players back available for selection as possible.
And if the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, then several such stars should indeed be back in time to face Real Madrid.
The season’s first edition of El Clásico has been pencilled in for October 26th.
And according to Diario Sport, all of Lamine, Raphinha, Fermín and Ferran are expected to be available.
