The Chicago Bears will look to continue their win streak as they are set to take on Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football.
It will be the rematch of last season, where the Bears gave up a game-winning Hail Mary in the final seconds of the game. This play drained Chicago of any hopes in 2024, and they went on to lose nine of their last 10 games of the season.
In their pursuit of revenge, the Bears announced multiple players who are listed as inactive for the game.
Bears announce seven players as inactive for Monday Night Football against the Commanders
Just hours before the primetime matchup, The Athletic's Kevin Fishbain announced that seven players would be inactive against the Washington Commanders. The list includes DT Grady Jarrett, PK Cairo Santos, WR Jahdae Walker, DL Tanoh Kpassagnon, LB Ruben Hyppolite, OG Luke Newman, and QB Case Keenum.
Fishbain also mentioned that Jake Moody will be the kicker for Chicago tonight in place of Cairo Santos.
QB Caleb Williams (927 passing yards, eight touchdowns, two interceptions) and WR Rome Odunze (20 catches, 296 yards, and five touchdowns) will look to continue their hot start to their sophomore season and attempt to get their revenge on the Commanders from last season's depletion.
