MOREHEAD, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Morehead State Golden Eagles will welcome their long-time rival, the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 27, on ESPN+ for an exhibition game.
The rivalry between the Eagles and Colonels dates back to the 1930s, but the two have not played each other since 2021 in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament. Eastern Kentucky would leave for the Atlantic Sun at the end of the season.
LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:
The Colonels lead the all-time series 110-87, and MSU won nine of the last 13 games.
Tickets have not yet gone on sale for the game, but will be available online for purchase.
