Members of the first-team ranks at Spanish football’s two leading clubs have received nominations for the next Golden Boy award.
The Golden Boy, for those not familiar, is a prze handed out on an annual basis, by Italian outlet Tuttosport.
It aims to recognise the talents of U21 players in Europe, for their respective efforts over the prior 12 months.
In the past, Barcelona have produced several winners, including Pedri, Gavi, and Lamine Yamal.
And this time round, the Blaugrana will be represented at the ceremony by defensive prodigy Pau Cubarsí.
Turning focus towards the other half of the Clásico divide, Real Madrid have seen three of their up-and-coming starlets included on this year’s shortlist.
The Blancos trio come in the form of Dean Huijsen, Franco Mastantuono, and Arda Güler.
