Barcelona star Eric García has this week provided his take on the conversation surrounding the most underrated players in Hansi Flick’s squad.
The first-team ranks in Catalunya’s capital is of course packed with some of the game’s most high-profile stars at present.
Two Blaugrana players, in Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, are fresh off top-5 finishes at the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
Pedri, meanwhile, is at the forefront of the conversation for the best midfielder in world football at present.
Whilst some receive the recognition they fully deserve, though, other Barca stars see their contributions go more under the radar.
And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, Eric García has opened up on who he feels go more overlooked than any others.
Drawn on the subject of Barcelona’s most underrated players during an interview with Diario Sport, defender Eric explained:
”It may be that Frenkie is there and I think the two attacking midfielders, both Fermín and Dani. They are players that when we have both well, it is very noticeable. They are two players with goals, who give you an assist, they give you work, Dani, he can also play you as a false nine, they can both play together. I think they are two players who are very important for our team.”
