La Liga champions Barcelona are considered to be among the clubs at the front of the queue in the race for the signature of Club Tijuana sensation Gilberto Mora.
That’s according to transfer journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, who has on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.
Youngster Mora has of course seen his name emerge as a prominent one across all of Europe over recent weeks.
This comes with the versatile attacker’s performances at the U20 World Cup having continued to turn heads.
Mora has long been making a name for himself as one of the standout up-and-coming talents in world football, capped three times by Mexico at senior level despite having just turned 17.
And as alluded to above, this week, an update on the mounting interest in his services has come to the fore.
The info comes courtesy of the aforementioned Cesar Luis Merlo, who has confirmed that:
‘The Mexican could arrive in LaLiga or the Premier League, as Manchester United and Barcelona are the most interested in him.’
