The postseason is right around the corner for high school volleyball, but we’ve still got a few weeks to go.
In the Cheboygan area, we’ve seen many players perform well this fall.
Here’s a chance to vote on who you think has been the best player in the Cheboygan area so far.
The poll opens on Wednesday and closes at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19.
Here’s a look at the nominees:
Makaela Steiner, Cheboygan – All-around, the Cheboygan senior setter has been outstanding. Passing-wise, she reached 2,000 career assists earlier this season.
Tessa Lake, Cheboygan – One of Cheboygan’s top players, Lake’s had a solid attacking season and performed well defensively.
Presley Chamberlain, Cheboygan – An excellent defensive player, Chamberlain has been a rock at libero for the Chiefs. Earlier this fall, she reached 1,000 career digs.
Diem Schley, Cheboygan – Another strong attacking player, Schley’s hitting has been solid throughout the fall, as well as her defense in the front row.
Chloe Robinson, Inland Lakes – One of the Bulldogs’ top attackers, the senior hitter has been productive during her final season with the program.
Jenna Stubbs, Inland Lakes – An all-around star for the Bulldogs, Stubbs’ hitting, defense and serving have all been efficient in her last season with the program.
Myla Thompson, Inland Lakes – Has delivered a solid campaign and developed into one of the most dangerous attackers on the court for the Bulldogs.
Kerry-Ann Ming, Mackinaw City – A top attacker and defender in the front row, Ming’s play has been outstanding throughout her senior campaign.
Rian Esper, Mackinaw City – Another excellent all-around player, Esper’s performed well with her hitting, passing, defense and serving.
Alaina Brown, Mackinaw City – One of the breakout players this fall has been Brown, who’s established herself as one of the most versatile players in the area.
Amya Janusky, Onaway – One of the best attackers in the area, Janusky’s performances in the front row and defensively have been solid.
Brooklyn Boughner, Onaway – Breaking out with a big sophomore campaign has been Boughner, who’s had standout performances as Onaway’s setter.
Ella Lintz, Onaway – An experienced and dangerous attacker, Lintz has regularly been one of Onaway’s top performers throughout her senior season.
Lanie Irwin, Pellston – So far, the Pellston senior hitter has delivered an outstanding fall, reaching 1,000 career kills earlier in the campaign.
Breanna Willis, Pellston – Another terrific senior player in the area, Willis has had a productive fall that’s included reaching 1,500 career assists.
Ella Klungle, Pellston – Providing consistency for the Hornets with her attacking play and defense, Klungle has had a standout senior campaign.
