Liverpool have secured their next Steven Gerrard, and he only cost £60m.
Every international break there are clips of the Reds' former no.8 that resurface to remind us of just how good he was.
Gerrard was more than a footballer, he was at times the entire core of Liverpool. The way he carried that team in the early 2000s on his back is something only he was capable of doing.
In the pantheon of greats who have pulled on the Reds' shirt, he is among the very best. Gerrard was able to lift the club and deliver moments of greatness single-handedly.
He was simply an incredible footballer. The likes of which Anfield will probably never witness, or will they?

Since he left the club, we've all been waiting for his second-coming. The next Gerrard has been a topic of conversation for close to a decade now.
And at last, there may finally be an answer.
As we mentioned above, what made Gerrard great was that he could lead a team on his own and carry the burden while delivering momentous goals and assists, time and time again.
At Liverpool, there are multiple players who can do that. Right now, the Reds don't have to rely on just one person to carry the team.
However, on international duty Dominik Szoboszlai is often required to perform that Gerrard role for his country.
Signed for just £60m (Sky Sports), Szoboszlai was always destined to take the throne from Gerrard. He had a quote attributed to the Liverpool man tattooed on his forearm. He took on the mantle of the no.8 shirt, and he has the ability to score goals from long-range and from set-pieces in the same way Gerrard was able to.
Now he's showing for his country that he's also capable of leading a team on his back.
Hungary are currently participating in a tough qualifying campaign as they look to reach the World Cup for the first-time in 40-years.
And they took on Portugal away from home in a crucial encounter on Tuesday night. Szoboszlai had to step up for his country as they faced a star-studded team.
The Hungarian captain needed to deliver in order to make sure his nation stood a chance of getting a result. Deliver he did.
Szoboszlai provided the assist for Hungary's opener and after Cristiano Ronaldo helped Portugal claw their way back and take a 2-1 lead, it was the Liverpool man who had the last laugh scoring a 91st minute equaliser to secure a vital point for his country.
That point gives Hungary the edge in their hopes of qualifying to the play-offs and maintaining their World Cup dream.
It also means Szoboszlai has now provided 18 decisive goal contributions for his country that have ended up securing a victory or a draw.
In total he has 25 goal contributions, so the fact that 72% of his goals and assists have had a direct impact on his nation's result is hugely impressive.
It's also Gerrard esque. He was the one who always made the difference for Liverpool.
