SEC football recruiting rankings after Georgia's latest decommitment

Missouri is the SEC's biggest recruiting winner recently with Arkansas being the conference's biggest loser. Where does UGA rank?

The Georgia Bulldogs still have the best recruiting class in the SEC despite losing a commitment from four-star linebacker recruit Shadarius Toodle, who flipped his commitment to the Auburn Tigers. Georgia has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country in the 2026 cycle behind the USC Trojans.

SEC football recruiting has seen some significant movement over the past month. The Missouri Tigers have added eight commitments over the past month-plus. Missouri is now ranked closer to the middle of the pack after being last in the conference.

The Arkansas Razorbacks have lost a dozen commitments since September and are now ranked last in the SEC. The Razorbacks recently fired head coach Sam Pittman. More SEC coaches will likely be fired before the end of the season with Auburn's Hugh Freeze and Florida's Billy Napier having hot seats.

The SEC remains the nation's best conference at acquiring talent and has five of the nation's top 10 recruiting classes. Georgia (No. 2), Alabama (No. 3), Texas A&M (No. 5), Texas (No. 6) and Tennessee (No. 8) all have top 10 recruiting classes. The SEC's top recruiting classes have remained pretty stable over the course of the regular season.
