Kylian Mbappé was a notable absentee from the latest group training session held by La Liga giants Real Madrid on Wednesday.
And an insight into precisely why the Frenchman was nowhere to be seen has since been forthcoming online.
Frontman Mbappé has of course seen his name emerge as a dominant one in Spain’s capital over recent days.
This comes, first, after the former PSG man was sent home from the French national team camp with an ankle issue.
Ensuing reports assured that the problem was not a serious one, with Mbappé set to be available to face Getafe this coming weekend.
In turn, it may have come as something of a concern for those of a Real Mdrid persuasion to learn of the 26-year-old, on Wednesday, continuing to sit out group activities at Valdebebas.
As alluded to above, though, such Blancos supporters need not fret.
As per a report from journalist Álvaro Esteban:
‘Kylian Mbappé has been resting and working individually outside of Valdebebas to put behind the ankle discomfort. He will join the team starting tomorrow.’
