Ja'Marr Chase has a special skill that no one is talking about.
His pursuit of the ball carrier to make tackles is unmatched among wide receivers.
The Cincinnati Bengals' superstar WR already has five solo tackles this season.
That's more than, most notably, Packers star Micah Parsons, who has four solo tackles.
Parsons technically beats Chase by having seven tackle assists, but in the solo tackles category, Chase is ahead through six weeks of the season.
Obviously, that's not a great sign for the Bengals' offense.
Cincinnati would prefer Chase never have a tackle opportunity, because he only ever gets them off of turnovers.
But apparently Chase doesn't mind ensuring the play ends before a bigger return.

He's big and strong and fast, and that translates to quickly turning into a defensive player to make a play.
Parsons doesn't play a position with lots of tackling in space, which is partly why he rarely gets a solo tackle.
Chase, on the other hand, is often the only guy around to make a tackle after the Bengals' offense is intercepted or fumbles.
That's certainly a player putting in the extra work even though he's already a superstar. It's not a good sign for the Bengals, but it is kind of cool.
