Jude Bellingham has perhaps been one of the few disappointments for Real Madrid in this new season.
The Englishman started the season late due to an injury and even after coming back, fitness woes continued to haunt him, to a point where Xabi Alonso had to bench in back to back matches.
Bellingham, as a result, stayed back at Valdebebas during the international break to recover his top form. And now, with the Getafe game just around the corner, the midfielder is looking to come back stronger than ever.

According to MARCA, Bellingham has been working tirelessly to regain his best version after almost two years of shoulder problems that have limited his rhythm and explosiveness.
The Englishman underwent surgery in July to finally correct the long-standing issue, and since returning to action, Real Madrid’s medical staff have been monitoring his progress closely.

Last Wednesday, in a behind-closed-doors training match against Castilla, Bellingham shone once again, even scoring one of the two goals. Those who watched the session described him as “free of discomfort and full of confidence.”
No one at Valdebebas doubts that the Bellingham from the 2023-24 season – the player who scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists in his debut campaign – will return.
Club believe the hardest part now is translating his improved physical condition into competitive form in official matches.
Real Madrid believe that moment is closer than ever, with optimism growing that the 22-year-old could rediscover his best version before the end of October, just in time for the team’s crucial run of fixtures.
Bellingham’s immediate focus will go to this weekend’s encounter against Getafe, a match where the Englishman is expected to start.
