The Cincinnati Bengals are going to need all hands on deck ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Unfortunately, it appears they'll be without their best defensive player. Trey Hendrickson is expected to miss tonight's game with a back injury, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

"Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson (questionable, back) is expected to be out tonight vs. Steelers, per source. Wanted to play but tough on short turnaround, hopeful for next week."

Trey Hendrickson listed out vs. Steelers

Last year's league leader in sacks will miss his first game of the season today, and it couldn't come at a more inopportune time.

The Bengals will be fighting to keep their season afloat tonight, as the AFC North-leading Steelers come to town looking to strengthen their grip on the division lead.

Cincinnati, at 2-4, could continue to keep things interesting in the division with a win tonight. It would put them only one game back from Pittsburgh, while the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens sit firmly in last place at 1-5.

It will be a tall task without Hendrickson, but the Bengals will hope their offense gained some steam after last week's promising outing against the Green Bay Packers.

Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco will start his second game as the Bengals quarterback.

It should be noted that the Steelers are 0-6 in the Mike Tomlin era when playing on Thursday Night Football, facing a divisional opponent on the road.

Either the Bengals will pick up their first win of the season without Joe Burrow tonight, or Tomlin and the Steelers will break their TNF curse.
