Alex Egbuonu, a four-star small forward in the 2026 class, has narrowed his list of schools to five, he told Rivals. Moving forward, the 6-foot-6 senior out of Lawrence Academy (MA) will consider Auburn, Boston College, Marquette, Stanford, and Villanova.

Egbuonu has completed official visits to Marquette, Stanford, and Boston College. He will visit Villanova this weekend and plans to visit Auburn on November 1st.

Egbuonu is ranked as the No. 70 overall player in the class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He’s also the No. 27 small forward and No. 3 player in the state of Massachusetts.

He averaged 17.8 points this past summer playing with the BABC program on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit.

In a previous interview with Rivals, Egbuonu discussed his game and what type of player he is.

“I would say I’m a three-level scorer, and I’m really good at scoring in transition,” Egbuono told Rivals. “I would say that I play with a lot of energy. I’ve gotten a more consistent shot, being able to stay low, change directions, so I can get to the basket easier.”
