It's been a long time coming, but CeeDee Lamb is officially back for the Dallas Cowboys.

Stating that he could have suited up against the Carolina Panthers, but erred on the side of caution, the All-Pro is now all gas, no brakes as he looks to play his first game since Week 3 against the Chicago Bears.

But having been out for three weeks, it is only natural to think that CeeDee will need some ramp-up time to get back to being the devastating weapon we know him to be.

But Lamb being Lamb, he doesn't think it will take long before he's his usual self.

“I don't think it'll be long at all,” Lamb said. “I feel like I'm out there moving around, running around, being me, happy as can be. Obviously, just believing in my ankle. I feel like it's back to where I needed it to be and [I’m] pretty good."

Lamb hoping to hit the ground running vs. Commanders

Given the abundance of weapons at Dak Prescott's disposal, and George Pickens' current form, the Cowboys don't need Lamb to be "Lamb" straight away. However, it would be nice at AT&T Stadium against the Washington Commanders.

It isn't known if Lamb will be on a snap count, although Dak stated CeeDee has looked good in practice. However, with Jake Ferguson, Pickens, KaVontae Turpin, Javonte Williams, Ryan Flournoy, and Jalen Tolbert, there are other options, so Dak doesn't have to be Lamb-centric.

The Commanders' defense will have to be wary of this Cowboys offense, because even without Lamb, Dallas is dangerous, given how the run game and Dak's quarterback play have been for most of the season.

Now you add in the All-Pro who is confident he can hit the ground running, yeah, that's nightmare fuel.
