Amazon Prime Video analyst Kirk Herbstreit shared criticism of the Cincinnati Bengals' pass rush during the second quarter of the team's NFL Week 7 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Paycor Stadium on Thursday Night Football.
"It's just incredible how little of a pass rush this Bengals' defense has without Trey Hendrickson," Herbstreit said during the broadcast. "It's just a non-factor."
Hendrickson was inactive for the game. He had been listed as questionable on the team's injury report with a hip injury.
Hendrickson, the 2024 NFL sacks leader, was injured during the second quarter of the team's NFL Week 6 loss to Green Bay at Lambeau Field.
Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers held the ball for 8.6 seconds before finding tight end Jonnu Smith for a first-quarter touchdown. It was the longest snap-to-pass time on a TD throw this season, according to NextGenStats.
