Ja'Marr Chase broke his own Bengals' single-game record with 16 catches in a 33-31 win against the Steelers on Thursday Night Football.
In the Thursday Night Football game dubbed the "Icy Hot Bowl" for pitting 40-year-old Cincinnati Bengals starting quarterback Joe Flacco against 41-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers starter Aaron Rodgers, Flacco came out on top.
Flacco completed 31 of his 47 attempts for 342 passing yards with three touchdowns in the Bengals' thrilling 33-31 win against their AFC North rival.
"This could be a springboard," Amazon Prime Video analyst Kirk Herbstreit said. "You've got some momentum. It's amazing what once game can do ... to the direction of your season."
Earlier in the game, Herbstreit called Flacco a unicorn.
Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase passed 6,000 receiving yards in his 69th NFL game, and broke his own single-game franchise record with 16 catches in the game.
Tee Higgins put the Bengals in position by sliding after his sixth catch of the game to set up Evan McPherson's game-winning field goal.
"To come out and get a win today was really big," Bengals running back Chase Brown told Amazon Prime Video's Kaylee Hartung. "No bigger stage. … It's been amazing what (Flacco) has done the last two weeks. It's exciting."
