How the Bengals snaps counts shook out in Week 7 vs. Steelers.
The Cincinnati Bengals continued their new habit of benching players regardless of status over performance concerns during the Week 7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.
There, cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt was inactive and benched, earning comments from head coach Zac Taylor. The next morning, Taylor-Britt himself talked about his benching.
Here are some quick snap count takeaways following that theme:
- Dalton Rsiner played 100 percent of the snaps while rookie Dylan Fairchild took a seat.
- Noah Fant took 68 percent of the offense’s snaps with Mike Gesicki out for the year.
- Chase Brown had a big game but was very much in a rotation, taking 63 percent of the snaps while Samaje Perine got 37 percent.
