FOWLER 48, ITHACA 28
FOWLER — Fowler scored 34 unanswered points in the second half while pulling away for a nonleague victory over Ithaca. Isaac Thelen returned and interception for a touchdown and Trevor Spicer had eight tackles, 98 yards rushing and five touchdowns while helping the Eagles (6-2) bounce back from their Week 7 loss to Pewamo-Westphalia. Levi Travis ran for 106 yards and a touchdown for Fowler. Gibson Rondy threw for 265 yards and a touchdown and Riley Guild had 85 yards receiving for Ithaca (6-2). Landon Bratschi and Jacob Crawford added rushing scores for the Yellowjackets.
WILLIAMSTON 46, DOWAGIAC 7
OLIVET — Kaleb Nielson went 12-for-14 with 179 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Hornets to a nonleague victory over Dowagiac (5-3) at the University of Olivet. Joseph Smith picked up 82 yards rushing and a touchdown, Parker Friess grabbed 76 yards receiving and a touchdown and Tommy Pratt had a receiving score and returned an interception for a touchdown for Williamston (8-0). Hunter VanSickler and Miles Keener added touchdown catches for the Hornets.
DeWITT 51, OKEMOS 0
OKEMOS — Channing Ridley led all rushers with 145 yards on six carries with three touchdowns as the Panthers secured a share of the CAAC Blue title with their win. Traverse Moore ran for 103 yards and threw for 46 yards, Tyler Bayshore ran for 45 yards and two touchdowns and Donovan Hillard chipped in 42 yards and a score for DeWitt (8-0, 5-0). Blake Burke threw for a team-high 89 yards for the Wolves (2-6, 1-4).
PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA 55, PERRY 0
PERRY — Ty Thelen finished with 97 yards passing with three touchdowns and 65 yards rushing and a score to help the Pirates finish unbeaten in the CMAC with a road victory over Perry. Luke Nurenberg notched a team-high 109 yards rushing and a touchdown, Nick Waltersdorf hauled in 67 yards through the air with a touchdown, Alex Drysdale pulled down 55 yards receiving and a touchdown and Caleb Blythe and Andrew Kriss each added a receiving score for Pewamo-Westphalia (7-0, 5-0). Zach Miller threw for 50 yards for the Ramblers (1-7, 1-5).
EAST LANSING 45, WAVERLY 6
Jean-Michael Smith ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns and AJ Ardister threw for 103 yards and two touchdowns to help the Trojans (3-5) to a CAAC Blue win over Waverly. Kellen Lott added 79 yards rushing and a touchdown for East Lansing, which won its second straight and improved its playoff chances with the win.
SEXTON 48, EATON RAPIDS 13
EATON RAPIDS — Josiah Stewart had a pair of kickoff returns for touchdowns and added a rushing score while helping the J-Dubbs close CAAC White play with a win over Eaton Rapids. Abdual-Carter Foreman threw for 60 yards and a touchdown to Willie Brown, , while Dion Banks and Damien Mac Brown added rushing scores for Sexton.
HASLETT 42, PARMA WESTERN 0
HASLETT — Korey Amachree ran for a team-best 93 yards and two touchdowns to help the Vikings to a nonleague home victory over Parma Western (2-6). Cornelius Malone picked up 85 yards and two touchdowns, Charlie Dutcher threw for 93 yards and a rushing touchdown and Jonq Thomas punched in a rushing score for Haslett (6-2).
STOCKBRIDGE 64, SAND CREEK 32
STOCKBRIDGE — Brandon Hamlett led all rushers with 295 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Panthers to a Big 8 victory over Sand Creek (0-8, 0-6). Quarterback Noah Sandecki picked up 122 yards rushing and a score and 62 yards passing with a touchdown, Aidan Bradley grabbed three receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown and Evan Lockhart punched in a rushing score for Stockbridge (4-4, 4-2).
OVID-ELSIE 56, NEW LOTHROP 25
ELSIE — Quarterback Owen Long led the Marauders with a team-best 126 yards rushing, 116 yards passing and four total touchdowns in their MMAC victory over New Lothrop (5-3, 4-3). Brock Spitzley notched 79 yards rushing and two touchdowns, Brody Howard pulled down six receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns and Chase Fabus tacked on 75 yards and a score for Ovid-Elsie (6-2, 6-1).
FULTON 62, ST. CHARLES 6
Kaiden Oliver ran for 129 yards and a touchdown, while Bryson Sattler ran for two scores, threw touchdown passs and returned a kick 89 yards for a score for the Pirates in their win over St. Charles. Zach Litwiller threw for 141 yards and a touchdown , while Connor Cunningham and Coltin Kus had interceptions for Fulton (4-4).
QUINCY 17, MAPLE VALLEY 14
VERMONTVILLE — Tyrese Robinson El finished with a team-best 45 yards and a touchdown as the Lions came up just short in a Big 8 home defeat to Quincy (5-3, 3-3). Darren Carpenter picked up 42 yards rushing and 24 yards passing and connected with Kelvin Davis for a score for Maple Valley (2-6, 1-5).
MILLINGTON 55, LESLIE 26
LESLIE — Joel Cranmore threw for 310 yards and had a pair of rushing scores and Braydin Johnson had nine catches for 154 yards for the Blackhawks in their nonleague loss to Millington. Braeden Romero had seven catches for 92 yards and added seven tackles and an interception for Leslie.
GAYLORD 32, ST. JOHNS 28
The Redwings gave up 19 points in the final quarter while suffering a nonleague loss to Gaylord. Brady Heibeck had 146 yards rushing and Cody Carn had a pair of rushing touchdowns for St. Johns (4-4).
HOLLY 41, OWOSSO 14
OWOSSO — Liam Patrick threw for 87 yards and a touchdown to go with a rushing score for the Trojans in a Flint Metro League crossover defeat to Holly (5-3). Braden Reed pulled down five receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown and Talon Newell tacked on 55 yards rushing for Owosso (5-3).
SAGINAW SWAN VALLEY 44, ALMA 6
SAGINAW — Penn Seeley finished with 79 yards rushing and a touchdown and 75 yards passing for the Panthers in a TVC Red road loss to Saginaw Swan Valley (7-1, 5-1). RJ Bielega grabbed 39 yards receiving yards and Kias Martin notched a team-high seven tackles for Alma (3-5, 2-4).
