Here are the results of most of the Shreveport and Bossier City area high school football games from Oct. 17.
The Parkway Panthers continued their onslaught against District 1-5A on Friday, Oct. 17, with a 30-19 victory over Huntington at Independence Stadium.
The Panthers (7-0, 5-0) benefited from a pair of TD runs by the speedy Damian Decaldecal, while Kaleb Williams hit Gary Burney and Antonio Gladney for scoring passes.
The Raiders (3-4, 3-3) put together one of their better performances of the year despite the loss. Justin Whitaker passed for three Huntington TDs with two going to Caiden Starks and another to Jakorian Spencer.
Ruston 41, Neville 37: Ruston’s Sam Hartwell took over in the fourth quarter to enable the Bearcats (6-1, 2-0) to top the Tigers (4-3,1-1) in District 2-5A action. With the ‘Cats trailing entering the final frame, Hartwell Dalen Powell and Josiah Morgan for TD passes while also scoring on a 10-yard run.
Northwood 48, Bossier 14: The Falcons (6-1, 3-1) made it three in a row with the district win over the Bearkats (3-4, 1-3). Northwood had two TDs each from John Sneed and Kyran Johnson. Justin Thomas, Duntavious Young and Owen Bohanon also scored for the Falcons. Bossier's Montrevell Lewis became the first player in school and Bossier Parish football history to surpass 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards passing in a single season, according to Bossier coach Gary Smith.
Alexandria 49, Pineville 3: The Class 5A No. 7-ranked Trojans (6-1, 1-1) bounced back with a dominating win over fellow Rapides Parish Rebels (4-3, 0-2). Kason Williams scored three TDs for ASH. Alex Fontenot and JaKyrian Griffin added two more each.
Airline 36, Haughton 28: The Vikings (4-3) stopped their three-game slide with a homecoming win over the Bucs (1-6, 0-3). DJ Allen and Kenny Darby scored two TDs each for Airline. Haughton quarterback Taylor Weathersby tossed TD passes to Ethan Johnson, Case Corkern and Brandon Craig, who added a rushing touchdown.
Red River 49, Lakeside 21: The Bulldogs (3-4, 1-1) bounced back, handing the Warriors (3-4, 0-2) consecutive losses. Red River had TDs from Warren Bowman, and Cedric Moody added two more Bulldog scores. Lakeside's Brock Chase threw two TD passes to Eric Jones. Kentravion Miller added a Warrior rushing touchdown.
Loyola 62, Woodlawn 14: The Flyers (7-0, 4-0) have yet to stumble in 2025 after picking up a win over the Knights (2-5, 0-4). Bryce Restovich had another 300-yard passing night with five TD passes and one rushing score. Carson Ward added one more passing touchdown to Charlie McKenzie for one of his three touchdown receptions and Ty Walsworth had two more TD catches. Mason Drake scored two rushing touchdowns for the Flyers. The Knights had rushing touchdowns from Kaden Pikes and Jeremiah Gustain.
North Desoto 56, Southwood 0: The Class 4A top-ranked Griffins (7-0, 4-0) won their 18th consecutive district game with a win over the Cowboys (3-3, 1-3). Luke Delafield and Braelyn Latin had three TDs each in the win. Hayden Belk and Stephen Sims added a rushing touchdown each.
Destrehan 68, Captain Shreve 28: Despite getting 234 rushing yards, including 90 with two TDs from Gabe Lockett, the Gators lost (4-3, 4-1) at home in a non-district contest. Jackson Gaskins tossed two TD passes to Kaleb Law and Shawn Devers. The Wildcats (5-2) got 224 yards and four TDs from Malachi Dabney.
Lincoln Prep 25, Glenbrook 7: The Panthers (3-4, 2-2) stopped a three-game slide with a win over GHS (3-4, 2-3). Lincoln Prep had rushing touchdowns from Howard Kirkpatrick Jr., Trey Spann and Joshua Kelly. Zion Hicks added a pick-6 for the Panthers. Glenbrook's score came from a 28-yard TD pass from Louis Collin to Darron Hollingworth.
Arcadia 47, Plain Dealing 0: The Hornets (3-4, 2-2) made it back-to-back district wins with a shutout of the Lions (0-6, 0-5). Bryce Gates scored four TDs while Kris Jackson scored twice.
Jena 60, Vidalia 28: The Vikings (2-5, 0-2) ran into the Class 3A No. 9 Giants (6-1, 2-0). Elmari Lewis scored two TDs for Vidalia while Mike Randall and Jayden Gaines added one each.
D’Arbonne Woods 56, North Caddo 26: The Timberwolves (6-1, 3-1) locked in a fifth consecutive winning season with win over the Titans (1-6, 1-2). Daltin Albritton ran for three scores and found Jericho Adkins for a TD pass. Thorne Strippling scored two rushing touchdowns for the Timberwolves. Damonte Miles and Kobe Hill each had a passing touchdown to Zykedran Brown. Miles and Hill also added a rushing touchdown each.
Minden 55, BTW 30: The Crimson Tide (3-4, 2-2) outlasted the pesky Lions (4-3, 1-3) at The Pit. Minden's Hudson Brown had a hand in three TDs, rushing on two and passing for one. Brown tossed a TD pass to Jaden Johnson who also had a rushing score. Caydlien Aubrey had two 60-plus yard rushing TDs and Lucas Owens also had two TDs. The Lions had touchdowns from Vontravious Moore, Vincent Blake Jr., Devondre Johnson and Zatvea Frazier.
St. Mary's 42, Montgomery 18: SMHS (2-5, 1-1) halted a two-game slide with a win over MHS (3-4, 1-1). Ashton Johnson tossed three touchdowns for St. Mary's. John Paul Thibodaux and Haiden Nelson reached the end zone twice. Jacob Thibodaux and Chalin Gandy each added SMHS touchdowns.
