FC Barcelona have revealed their starting lineup for the clash against Girona, and as expected, Hansi Flick has had to make significant changes to his attack due to injuries.
With Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, and Dani Olmo all unavailable, Flick has turned to Marcus Rashford to lead the line.
The English forward will be supported by Lamine Yamal on the right and Toni Fernandez on the left, offering pace and creativity in the attacking third.
Flick also had other attacking options, including Fermin Lopez, but ultimately opted for Toni Fernandez, showing his faith in the youngster’s ability to make an impact from the start.
The defensive line sees Jules Kounde at right-back, while the centre of defence remains unchanged with Eric Garcia and Pau Cubarsi, providing stability at the back despite a depleted squad.

In midfield, the big surprise is the inclusion of Marc Casado, who will be tasked with supporting Frenkie de Jong and Pedri.
Despite the heavy workload both De Jong and Pedri have carried so far this season, Flick has decided against resting them, underlining the importance of securing all three points against Girona.
Barcelona are keen to respond following their heavy defeat against Sevilla in the previous league matchday.
Meanwhile, Wojciech Szczesny will continue in goal, taking over for Joan Garcia, who remains sidelined for several more weeks due to injury.
Flick’s bench also features notable options in Xavi Espart, Eder Aller and Jofre Torrents, providing firepower and tactical flexibility should changes be needed during the match.
