Danny Welbeck struck again against Newcastle. The English striker delivered victory for Brighton (2-1) this Saturday at the Amex Stadium, netting a decisive brace against the Magpies.

Already a tormentor of Eddie Howe's men last season, the former Manchester United and Arsenal player opened the scoring in the 41st minute, latching onto a perfect pass from Georginio Rutter to chip Nick Pope with a deft finish.

Newcastle responded in the second half with a moment of brilliance from Nick Woltemade, who scored with a backheel in the 76th minute. But ultimately, Welbeck restored Brighton's lead eight minutes from time with an unstoppable curling strike.
