Harrisburg (girls) won for the fourth-straight year and Sioux Falls Lincoln (boys) for the third-straight year in state Class AA soccer matches.
RAPID CITY — Class AA powers Harrisburg (girls) and Sioux Falls Lincoln (boys) continued their championship streaks by winning South Dakota state high school soccer titles on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025.
Champions were crowned in Class AA and A boys and girls divisions in matches played at the Sioux Park Complex.

Class A Boys
A year after losing in the state championship game, top-seeded James Valley Christian put the finishing touches on a 14-1 season with a 2-0 win over third-seeded Freeman Academy.
Noah Fast and Carson Dorris each tallied goal for the Vikings, who won their first sanctioned state soccer title.
Freeman Academy ended its season with an 11-3-2 record.
Class A Girls
Second-seeded Sioux Falls Christian repeated as the state Class A girls champion with a 2-1 victory in a game that was decided by penalty kicks.
The Chargers (10-6-1) scored on an own goal off a corner kick by Kenley Anderson midway through the second period and the Panthers (11-4-1) evened the score with a goal by Millie Squier five minutes later.
After two scoreless overtime periods, Sioux Falls Christian took home the title by winning the penalty kicks shootout 4-3.
Class AA Boys
Top-seeded Sioux Falls Lincoln rolled to its third-consecutive state title and capped a 15-1-1 season with a 6-0 win over second-seeded Sioux Falls Jefferson (13-2-2).
Salmonsi David scored two goals and Miles Rolfing, Brady Stamp and Hudson Holman each one for Lincoln, which also scored on an own goal.
Jefferson concluded its season with a 13-2-2 record.
Class AA Girls
Second-seeded Harrisburg won the state Class AA championship for a fourth-straight year, beating No. 4 O'Gorman 3-1.
Lily Churchill, Brynn Skogen and Taylor Syverson each found the net for the Tigers, who went 16-1-1 on the season.
O'Gorman (12-2-3) scored on an own goal with just over three minutes remaining.
Class AA Semifinals
- Class AA Boys (Oct. 14) — No. 1 Sioux Falls Lincoln blasted No. 13 Brandon Valley 13-0 and No. 2 Sioux Falls Jefferson slipped past No. 6 Sioux Falls Christian 3-2.
- Class AA Girls (Oct. 14) — No. 4 O'Gorman knocked off No. 1 Rapid City Stevens 4-1 and No. 2 Harrisburg held off No. 3 Pierre 1-0.
