Former Liverpool striker noticed Pedro Neto getting really frustrated with his Blues team mate in yesterday’s win.

Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 in the end but the final score line did not paint the full picture of the game even though it is always the final result that will matter the most and it was getting the three points that counts.

The Blues had a very bad first half in all seriousness and the stats showed it as well. But three quick goals including a tidy volley for Reece James on his 200th appearance for the club, was enough to thrash Forest in the end and even get their manager sacked right after the game.

Maresca had to make some cut-throat changes at half time to help turn things around for his side, and one of those decisions included taking off Alejandro Garnacho for Jamie Gittens.

Frustrations were clear

Garnacho was also caught receiving the full wrath of Pedro Neto midway through the first-half, when his cross toward the back post went out of play rather than towards the former Wolves star.

Speaking during the interval, pundit Peter Crouch said: “Chelsea were a bit sloppy. Credit to Enzo [Maresca] for making those changes. I know Neto was really frustrated with him (Garnacho). He was crossing the ball and not getting on the other side. Neto was really frustrated with him.”

Other changes were made too

It wasn’t just Garnacho who got hauled off as Maresca saw the need to make some big changes after things were going very wrong for his side.

Marc Guiu was brought on for Andrey Santos, while Romeo Lavia made way for Moises Caicedo, as the game kicked off for the second period at 0-0.

Things looked a lot better for Chelsea from then on and they went on to get the job done well.
