According to Fichajes, it has come to light that Saudi Arabia has set its sights on three key Real Madrid players, namely, Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba, and Vinicius Jr.

The outlet mentions that while each situation is unique, the common thread is the growing interest from the Saudi league, which is keen to lure established stars away from Europe.

It is known that Alaba appears to be the closest to leaving. His contract expires in 2026, and reports suggest he is unlikely to continue.

The club’s decision has been influenced by a combination of injuries and Alaba’s high salary, prompting Real Madrid to already work on finding a replacement for the upcoming season.

What about Rudiger and Vinicius?

As for Rudiger, he faces a more complicated scenario. His contract also runs until the end of the season, and although Real Madrid remains open to hearing his plans, internal voices are increasingly pushing for a departure

The German defender is currently sidelined with an injury, which has slowed negotiations.

Saudi Arabia has reportedly made an enticing offer to Rudiger’s representatives, which includes a significantly higher salary and a long-term contract.

Meanwhile, Vinicius is the crown jewel in Real Madrid’s attack and a global football sensation. Saudi Arabia sees signing him as a potential media coup, capable of attracting other young European talents to their league.

However, the deal is far from straightforward. Vinicius, amidst his contract standoff with Real Madrid, is tied with the club until 2027, and the club has made it clear that selling him is not an option.

For a move to happen, Saudi Arabia would need to offer a record-breaking fee and persuade the player to abandon his current project in Madrid, a scenario that currently appears extremely unlikely.
