Reports say this game could see 50-60 mph wind gusts. This would provide definite limitations for what each offense could execute through the air.
There is also a strong chance of rain, with the current forecast showing a 94% chance, with a 29% of thunderstorms.
UPDATE (10/19, 9:30 a.m. ET): Various sources from Weather.com to the National Weather Service confirm the definite rain showers in Cleveland.
The most recent update on the wind comes from the National Weather Service as of 3:47 am EDT Oct 19, 2025. They indicate wind gusts could reach a high of 44 MPH, and stay in the 40s for most of the game.
So, what could this mean for some of the relevant fantasy options? Well, it's not all bad.
How Dolphins vs. Browns wind gusts could impact fantasy stats
Browns
Coming into this game, the Browns undoubtedly see a weak Miami Dolphins defense that has continued to struggle to stop the run. Miami has allowed 25.9 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs.
We can expect the Browns to get Quinshon Judkins going, along with the other RBs as well. The short to intermediate pass game may still be available, but nothing downfield.
With this being said, Harold Fannin Jr. is absolutely in play, especially with the news that David Njoku will not play in Week 7.
I'm not sure you love the idea of starting Dillon Gabriel or any of the Browns WRs, but Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson could find themselves involved if the weather is as bad as it seems.
Dolphins
The Dolphins are going to be extremely limited for this game against the Browns. Not that their passing attack is anything to write home about, but it sounds like the weather will hinder that.
The Browns' defense is also the best at stopping the run from a fantasy football standpoint. They allow just 15.9 FPPG to RBs, which is the lowest in the entire NFL.
De'Von Achane is in your lineups, thanks to his ability to excel in the short passing game that should play well in this weather. Darren Waller is a player who you are chasing a TD with. Between Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami receiving core, there can't be too much confidence that they'll be able to produce.
