Eagles-Vikings updates: Philly tries to end losing skid vs. Carson Wentz

Follow along for live updates from the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.

MINNEAPOLIS — Greetings from the press box at U.S. Bank Stadium, where the Philadelphia Eagles will look to get back to their winning ways against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The Eagles (4-2) are reeling a bit from back-to-back losses to the Broncos and Giants. The Vikings (3-2), meanwhile, are coming off a bye week following games in Dublin and London.

The Eagles will be facing Carson Wentz, their former franchise quarterback. Wentz is starting for the fourth time in place of injured starter J.J. McCarthy.

Of course, Wentz watched from the sidelines as Nick Foles and the Eagles won Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium. Understandably, Wentz facing his former team is a major storyline.

Stay tuned here for updates throughout the afternoon. But in the meantime, here are some pregame reads — including the possibility of a franchise legend coming out of retirement.
