The Arizona Cardinals didn't have the services of Kyler Murray in Week 6 and now his Week 7 status is in doubt.

Murray has been battling a foot issue since last week and was only able to turn in limited practices this week before drawing the questionable tag.

Murray took the same approach last week before sitting out, so that understandably led to concern about his ability to suit up on Sunday.

No, Murray is not expected to play in Week 7, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The good news is, Murray is projected to make his return after Arizona's Week 8 bye.

"Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is expected to return to play after Arizona’s bye week for its Monday night Nov. 3 game at Dallas, per sources," Schefter writes. "Murray is is expected to miss his second straight game Sunday due to a foot injury, thrusting Jacoby Brissett into the starting role vs. the Packers, per source."

As Schefter stated, veteran Jacoby Brissett, who has been backing Murray up all season long, will get the nod in the his place.

Brissett actually had a stellar showing in place of Murray in Week 6, with the veteran signal-caller finishing as QB7 overall.

Despite having a good defense, the Packers are a middle-of-the-road unit when it comes to giving up fantasy points to quarterbacks, so Brissett is a starting option this week.
