LAWRENCE (KSNT)- Kansas senior kicker Laith Marjan joins this weeks episode of K-Nation.
Marjan sat down with 27 Sports Director Kole Emplit to talk about his hot start to the season, switching from soccer to football in high school, and talking the Sunflower Showdown coming up with the Wildcats.
Through seven games, Marjan is a perfect 10 for 10 on field goals and 26-26 on extra points.
He had a career-long 55-yard field goal in the loss against Texas Tech on October 11.
“It was a thriller to celebrate with my teammates on the field during the moment but we were still down four points going into the half and knew we had work to do,” Marjan told 27 Sports. “You never want to get too deep in a mental hole but always don’t want to think you’re untouchable.”
