LAWRENCE (KSNT) – Kansas volleyball set a goal at the start of the season to make it past the round of 32 in the NCAA tournament. The ‘Hawks accomplished that goal but are now tasked with taking on the No. 1 team in the country, the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Sweet 16.

“You can’t predict what’s going to happen but you can control your effort and you can control your mindset,” Kansas volleyball head coach Matt Ulmer said. “If you do those two things you have a chance, if you don’t do those things you have no chance.”

That match is set for Dec. 12 at 8:30 p.m. in Lincoln, Neb.
