Terps in the NFL Week 14: Felton sees first opportunities on offense in weeks after special teams role

See how Maryland football alumni performed in a busy weekend slate.

Week 14 of the NFL regular season came to a close with 13 Maryland football alumni seeing the field.

Minnesota Vikings Wide receiver Tai Felton saw action on both offense and special teams on Sunday. In a 31-0 blowout win over the Washington Commanders, Felton played 22 combined snaps in both phases, reeling in one catch for 10 yards.

While his sample size on offense was minimal, and largely came due to the blowout, it was his first opportunity on offense since October in Week 8. This season, the 2025 third round pick has stuck to special teams duties on punts and returns.

As the Vikings have suffered ups and downs with a 5-8 record, their playoff chances in a strong conference and NFC North division are slim to none. This could mean opportunities for Felton in the last four weeks of the season, as Minnesota evaluates its personnel to conclude the year.

Look for Felton to possibly continue getting opportunities as the Vikings take on the Dallas Cowboys on the road for Sunday Night Football on Dec. 14.
