The controversy surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool is heating up. The Egyptian star is going through a rough patch, having been benched for the last three games. This situation has led him to voice his frustration, claiming that the club’s management has not lived up to its promises.
His comments, made after the match against Leeds United and before the clash with Inter Milan, have sparked intense debate. Salah was even left out of the Champions League squad for the latter fixture. Nevertheless, Liverpool managed to secure a 1–0 win thanks to a penalty from Dominik Szoboszlai.

Bayern Munich – Salah: Max Eberl puts an end to the rumors!
While several media outlets reported that Bayern Munich was considering opening negotiations to sign Mohamed Salah, the club’s sporting director, Max Eberl, was quick to set the record straight. Speaking to the “DAZN” platform, he firmly denied any contact whatsoever with the Liverpool star.
“Sign Salah? We already have an outstanding talent in Lennart Karl, and it would make absolutely no sense to bring in someone else ahead of him at this time,” he explained.
Eberl also responded to Salah’s recent comments: “I saw what he said, but to be honest, I didn’t really understand them. Frankly, I’m not particularly interested in what happens with that situation. Our squad is very balanced, both defensively and offensively, and we consider it to be perfectly set up.”
