First 0ff, I’m going to just leave this here as inspiration for tonight.
Well ladies and gentlemen, we have officially made it to Big Ten Conference play…sort of. The Huskers do have 2 more non-conference games to play, but we start the Big Ten slate with a tough matchup against the Badgers. The only benefit to this one is Nebraska is at home. Last time the Huskers and Badgers met, John Blackwell torched us. Bad news, he still plays for Wisconsin.
This type of game could easily let you know just how much Nebraska could battle in the Big Ten this season. A win here would tie the all-time school record for wins in a row at 14, while a 10-0 start almost seems unheard of in Nebrasketball lore. After tonight, we are already one-third of the way through the season. Let that sink in for a moment. Protect the vault at all costs, it will go a long way in making the NCAA Tournament.
