Following their win against Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday, FC Barcelona returned to training at the Ciutat Esportiva today.
The Catalans take on Osasuna this weekend at the Spotify Camp Nou, hoping to extend their lead at the top of the La Liga table.
No Gerard Martin training
But there was a notable absence in training today, with Gerard Martin not participating in the session, reports SPORT.
The versatile Barcelona defender’s absence is due to a slight indisposition. There is no major issue with the 23-year-old, and the club expect him to return tomorrow without any problems.
However, given his growing importance in the new centre-back role in the team, they preferred not to take any risks ahead of Saturday’s game against Osasuna.
If everything goes as expected, Martin will train normally tomorrow and will be ready for Saturday.

Hansi Flick is delighted with his attitude and his level on the pitch, and he has become one of the most versatile players in the squad alongside Eric Garcia, who signed his contract renewal with the club today until 2031.
Meanwhile, the rest of the squad trained normally, including academy players Dro and Tommy Marques, who completed the entire session with the group.
The training focused on fine-tuning details for the weekend fixture, in which Barça aim to continue their good form following the emphatic win against Real Betis and the Champions League victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
It has been an especially positive week for the dressing room, not only because of Barça’s results, but also due to the defeats suffered by Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid, who are not going through their best moment.
