Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl wants to send a message to fans — do not fret Michael Olise’s contract situation.
Eberl wants everyone to know Olise’s contract is solid and that there is no release clause in the deal, which was a rumor put out there by a few deranged wackadoos on social media last summer.
“No one needs to worry about Michael – He has a very good, performance based contract. And to emphasize this again – without a release clause,” Eberl told Sport Bild’s Henning Feindt, Christian Falk, and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Olise is thriving at Bayern Munich is a vital part of the squad. At some point, yes, other clubs are going to come calling and some might even make offers that Bayern Munich might actually consider. For now, though, Olise is completely off the market and fans can relax in knowing that the attacker will remain in Bavaria for the time being.
